Government announced Official Public Holidays in 2019

Government of Pakistan announced 14 Official Holidays for Year 2019. Interior Minister issue Notification regarding Public Holidays in Pakistan in 2019. Only 14 Official Holidays announced for Pakistani Peoples.

In Notification Issued by Interior Ministry of Pakistan has announced Public Holidays for Kashmir Day, Pakistan Day 23 March, Labour Day 1st May, Eid-ul-Fitar, Eid-Ul-Azha, Independence Day 14 August, Ashura Moharram, Eid-Milad-ul Nabi (SAW) and Quaid-e-Azam Birthday 25 December.

Government announced Official Public Holidays in 2019

It is noted that Also 3 Public Holidays for Banking Sector in Pakistan which include 1st January, 7th May and 1st July. Bank will be closed for Customers not for Bank Employees on these days. Bank Employees will join Duties on these Holidays.

According to Subject Notice, Holidays for Muslim subject to sight Moon. Another Notification will be released on time.

According to This Public Holidays Notification, Govt also 23 optional Holidays for Govt Employees. These Holidays includes Basant, New Years Day, Shiv Ratri, Holi, Shab-e-Miraj, Good Friday etc.
